Refund and Cancellation Policy

The AI bookkeeping setup is a customized professional service. This policy explains how cancellation requests are handled while preserving any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Before work begins

If you cancel before LZ Financial begins project work, you may request a full refund of the setup fee. Work is considered to have begun when we start reviewing your submitted intake, preparing the implementation, or performing another agreed project task.

After work begins

Once work begins, the setup fee is non-refundable, including if you later decide not to continue. Work is considered to have begun when we start reviewing your submitted intake, preparing the implementation, or performing another agreed project task. This does not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

After delivery

If the delivered setup does not materially match the agreed scope, notify us promptly. We will first make reasonable corrections within scope. This does not limit rights or remedies that apply under law.

Support work

Optional support is charged at CAD $30 per hour with a two-hour minimum per approved support job. You may cancel before support work begins without a charge. Once support work begins, the applicable minimum and completed time are payable.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Email info@lzfinancial.ca with the business name, payment email, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and card processing times are controlled by the payment provider.

Electronic communications

Requests, decisions, notices, and supporting documents are handled electronically by email or another agreed digital channel. LZ Financial does not ordinarily send paper mail unless required by law or expressly agreed.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first so we can review the project record and resolve the concern. Nothing in this policy prevents you from using rights available through your card issuer or applicable law.
